Feminism and Downton Abbey

First off, I hope you all had a great Christmas and holiday season. Second, I just wanted to say that if you haven't checked out the show Downton Abbey, WATCH IT NOW.

Something else has been weighing on my mind, and I must say it. As a feminist, I am proud. I am proud of my beliefs. I am proud that I fight for equal rights among men and women. I am proud I am not afraid to speak my mind. I am proud that I am currently dating someone who treats me as an equal. I am also happy to say that I am one of the lucky ones who has the courage to fight for rights that should be everyone's, and not just for women. Every color, race, religion, sexual orientation, and gender identity should have the right to work for the same amount of worth and money. Everyone should be able to happily strive for the best life they can have, and no one should have to fight to have the same rights that rich, white, heterosexual mean are automatically born with.
